Tilawat from Egypt | User Data Policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tilawat from Egypt handles user data when you use the app, including Quran recitations, radio streaming, downloads, notifications, sharing, and user-submitted recitations.
1. Information We May Collect
The app does not require users to create an account or sign in to listen to recitations, use radio streaming, adhkar, or the digital tasbeeh.
When you use the user-submitted recitation upload feature, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as the audio file, surah name, recitation title, selected reciter, and optional notes.
We may store technical data required to operate the service, such as audio file links, listening, viewing, download, or share counts, and content publication timestamps.
2. Audio Files and User Submissions
If you choose to upload an audio file, it is used only for review by the app administration. User-submitted recitations are not published inside the app unless they are approved.
If a submission is rejected or deleted from the dashboard, the related review data or stored file may be deleted according to the administration workflow.
3. Downloads and Local Storage
The app allows users to download some recitations for offline listening. Downloaded files are stored locally on the user's device and are not used to access unrelated files on the device.
4. Notifications
The app may use notifications for adhkar reminders or app-related reminders. Users can disable notifications from the device settings or from inside the app when available.
5. Sharing Links
When you share a recitation, the app creates a link to that recitation so other users can open it in the app or access a download page if the app is not installed.
6. Third-Party Services
The app may rely on external services for audio playback, file hosting, links, or Google Play services. These services may process technical data according to their own privacy policies.
We do not sell user data and do not share user data with third parties for advertising purposes.
7. Children’s Privacy
The app is suitable for all ages because it focuses on Quran recitations and Islamic adhkar. We do not ask children to provide personal information and do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable measures to protect app-related data and files. However, no method of data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
9. Data Requests and Contact
If you have a privacy-related request or want to request deletion of data you submitted through the app, please contact us at:
recitationsfromegypt@gmail.com
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page, and continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
